Invoices sent and payments made through Paypal only.
Option 1: 100 – one invoice: client pays in full upfront or at the end. Best for clients either most familiar with GSEP or for smaller projects less than $100.
Option 2: 50/50 – two invoices: client pays half upfront, half at the end. Most convenient, most popular.
Option 3: 55/30/15 – three invoices: clients pays 55% via first invoice upfront for content work, 30% after line editing is complete, 15% after proofreading is complete. Best for those who opt for all three services (content and line editing, plus proofreading).
Option 4: 20/35/30/15 – four invoices: client pays 20% down payment (will be honored as “kill fee”; see below) upfront via first invoice, 30% after content work is complete, 30% after line edits are complete, 15% after proofreading is complete. Best for those who want to spread out their payments.
Kill fee (non-refundable) – 20% of total agreed upon rate if project is/needs to be cancelled by the client.
